A perfect day for round 3 of Open Championship
What a delight it must have been for 22-year old Irish amateur Paul Dunne to walk up the 18th hole of the Old Course at St Andrews on Sunday as co-leader of The Open on a score of 12-under par. Alas, there will not be a play-off for the player from Dublin whose fine play has seen him blasted all over the headlines. For only the second time in the history of the open championship, the final round will be played on Monday. It’s not all over yet ….
