Gripping finish by Senior Tour pros in Holland
An inspiring interview with tour professional Paul Eales at The Dutch GC in Spijk. After battling with the elements and the other well-seasoned tough cookies on the European Senior Tour, the Englishman finished ultimately in a tie for second place in the inaugural Dutch Masters. He talks with Wendy Hoad about the “brute of a golf course” in Spijk and is enthusiastic about playing with amateurs in the Dunhill-links style tournament. He gives us his take on European Senior all-time Number One winner Carl Mason and pays tribute to his caddie wife, Sharon and the crowds for his own miracle putt on the 17th on the final day.
Summing-up his passion for golf, he says: “It’s a great game and a game for life”. And so say all of us!
