Inspiration and more on the Senior Tour
Still smiling after his terrific week in The Dutch Masters at Spijk in Holland, it was time to get down to some nitty gritty chit-chat with Senior Tour player Paul Eales. Just how fit are the Dustin Johnsons and Rory McIlroys of today’s game compared with the best in his hay day? The 54-year old Englishman is full of admiration for the new generation of “highly-trained athletes”. He talks of his love for the game, his inspiration for playing on the Senior Tour and reveals how he keeps himself fit for golf. Has his swing survived the test of time or has he had to make some drastic changes since turning 50? Wendy Hoad has an inspiring heart-to-heart with the amiable Tour pro from Royal Birkdale.
