Americans have a field day Augusta
Dazed by his own brilliance, American Patrick Reed slipped on the Green Jacket in the Butlers’ Cabin at Augusta National on Sunday. The 27-year old Texan’s dream has come true. He has won his first Major. And what a Major to win: The Masters! With a score of 15-under par, Reed won the first Major of the season by just one stroke from fellow-American Rickie Fowler. One stroke further back was another Texan, the former Masters Champion Jordan Spieth who was Reed’s strongest contender for most of the final round.
Many congratulations to you Patrick Reed, 2018 Masters Champion!
