Dick Vastenhouw feels it's the end of an era …
The 2015 edition was another superb Dutch Open at the Kennemer links course in Zandvoort, The Netherlands. Yet it was also a KLM Open tinged with a little sadness. Some say that it feels like the end of an era. For the next few years, the championship, which dates back to 1912, takes a break from its traditional roster of nine golf courses and goes to a new venue: The Dutch in Spijk.
“Golfing Inspirations” spoke with an emotional Head Greenkeeper at the Kennemer, Dick Vastenhouw, a few minutes after the prizegiving.
