NGF top man Jeroen Stevens shares his fears and dreams

It was a bold move to scrap the Deloitte Ladies Open and launch a Golf Week in its place.  NGF top man, Jeroen Stevens reflects with Wendy Hoad of ‘Golfing Inspirations’ upon the golf activities and festivities during the first ING Private Banking Golf Week in Amsterdam, which included the new Ladies Nations Invitational for tour pros.

 

Is he inspired by the first edition?  Is “jazzed-up golf” the way to boost golf in Holland and stop the trend of 7,000 ‘lost juniors’ in the last five years?  In this frank interview, the Director of the Dutch Golf Federation shares his concerns about the future of golf in his country.
